The Project Management Office – Facilities at the University of Lethbridge is requesting applications for a 3-year term position as a Project Manager. The successful candidate will provide design services and project management expertise for all phases of maintenance, renovation and construction projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Administer professional services agreements.
- Develop project budgets and contracting strategies.
- Determine user requirements and reflect them in construction documents.
- Prepare tender documents, contracts and perform contract administration.
- Develop cost estimates.
- Perform on-site construction observations.
- Manage approved projects within a project management system.
- University Degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience related to construction project management, or a College Diploma and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Project Management qualifications, professional designations relevant to the construction industry, and experience in developing cost estimates for building systems in an institutional or commercial environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to exercise independent judgment.
- Ability to manage projects on time and on budget.
- Successful candidate will be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
Starting Salary Range: $75,303.80 – $94,731.95 annually.
Full Salary Range: $75,303.80 – $ annually (APO – Grade
4).
