Bitdeer is seeking an accomplished Project Manager toесторан help lead Alberta, Canada datacenter projects. You will be directly involved with datacenter expansion work, including leading Government approvals and readying for construction. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning and budgeting to final execution, ensuring all projects are completed on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both construction management and previous Government interaction.

This role reports to the General Manager of North America Datacenter Business and requires close collaboration with our global teamsусус.

• Project Leadership:
  Lead project planning, defining scope, developing detailed schedules, and establishing budgets in collaboration with clients, engineers, and leadership.
• Contractor Management:
  Manage the full contractor lifecycle, including selection, contract negotiation, and supervision to ensure work adheres to quality standards and specifications.
• Budget & Schedule Oversight:
  Proactively manage project risks, including budget deviations, schedule delays, and on‑site emergencies, ensuring all safety standards and codes are met.
• Communication & Reporting:
  Serve as the primary point of communication, providing regular project updates and budget reports to internal teams and executive leadership.
• Relationship Management:
  Foster strong working relationships with internal cross‑functional teams, contractors, and other external partners.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering
• Experience leading large scale construction projects, including focus on Government relationships and approvals
• Thorough understanding of construction contracts, regulations, and architectural/engineering drawings
• Familiar with medium and low voltage power supply system and distribution system or experience in electricity infrastructure construction industry
• Thorough understanding of engineering, architectural, and otherroud construction drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to make intelligent and quick decisions, working well under pressure, and when faced with unexpected occurrences or delays.
• Ability to effectively multitask while analyzing and solving problems.
• Ability to work beyond the regular work‑day schedule, when necessary, to help coordinate activities and share information with the overseas team.
• Detailed oriented, time management, and sense of priorities.
• Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of job site in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
• Ability to be on‑call to address delays, emergencies, bad weather, and other issues at the job site.
