Resident Services - Housekeeper Seniors' Facility

Housekeeper required for Seniors' Living Facility.

Green Acres Foundation is seeking a dynamic multi-tasker, with a strong customer service focus, and superior cleaning skills to work in the position of Resident Services (Housekeeping).

The ideal candidate should be safety and hygiene driven and have above average cleaning skills. We are also looking for a team-oriented person who has a flexible, willing, and positive attitude.

Does this sound like you? If it is, you will perform duties that require considerable confidentiality, initiative, tact, and independent judgement. We are a self-motivated bunch who finds coming to work fun, so strong interpersonal and organizational skills are a MUST.

• Clean common areas and resident rooms by completing such tasks as vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, emptying garbage containers, and cleaning surfaces.
• Complete specialized, seasonal, and deep cleaning duties.
• Using floor scrubbing and carpet cleaning equipment.
• Laundry duties.
• Facility lock up and ongoing facility checks as required for the shift.
• Other duties as required.

• A current satisfactory Criminal Record Check (within the last 6 months).
• The ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English.
• First Aid Certification, WHMIS Training, and Food Safe Certification is an asset.
