As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers the Compassionate Intervention digital solution. This includes creating secure, scalable, and high-performance data models that enable seamless data flow across health, justice, and social services agencies.

• Design the overall data architecture for the Compassionate Intervention program, ensuring compliance with government standards.
• Lead the integration of data sources from medical, legal, and social support systems.
• Define and document data models, schemas, and pipelines to enable real-time data processing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to align data architecture with digital service standards.
• Implement privacy-first solutions, ensuring data security, encryption, and access controls.
• Optimize data storage and processing, leveraging cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or data engineering.
• Expertise in SQL and No

  SQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Experience with data pipeline development using Python, Apache Kafka, or Spark.
• Knowledge of FOIP, cybersecurity best practices, and GoA data governance policies.
• Hands-on experience designing API-based data integration solutions across ministries.
• Proven experience with CI/CD for data infrastructure, Dev Ops tools (Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Must be located in Canada and have required work permits (citizen, PR, etc.).
