The Opportunity:

As a Health Care Aide, you will work as a member of the care team, collaborating on the delivery of resident care. Under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will apply your knowledge and skills to provide safe and thorough basic care and services to residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work within your full scope of practice to provide resident-focused care.
  • Observe residents for changes in their condition and share observations for care planning.
  • Assist and accompany residents in mobility and participate in community functions.
  • Report any unsafe activities that could harm residents.
    • Qualifications:
  • Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide certificate course and registration in the Health Care Aide Directory.
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Strong planning, follow-up, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt within a demanding environment.
  • Demonstrates Age Care values and an empathetic attitude when working with others.
