Civil Draft Technologist

• Work with engineers, technologists, and project managers to develop civil engineering and geotechnical drawings.
• Duties may involve drafting of site plans, earthworks, structures, plan/profiles, and details.
• Work closely and communicate with multi-disciplinary team to develop complete drawing packages.
• Projects may involve earthworks, dams, canals, pipelines, and drainage systems with a particular focus on geotechnical aspects.
• Opportunity to support our materials testing lab for additional hands-on experience.

Qualifications:

• 0 – 5 years’ experience, though consideration will be given to suitable intermediate level (5 – 10 years’ experience) candidates.
• Be registered or be eligible for registration with ASET.
• Experience/proficiency in 2D AutoCAD
• Experience with Civil 3D would be an asset.
• Self-motivated, reliable, strong work ethic, natural enthusiasm.
• Possess excellent verbal communication skills and have the ability to work in a team environment.
