The Role

ATB 101 is a 4 month work experience and engagement program with a summer intake! Our ATB 101 students play an integral role in the success of our business. As an ATB 101 student you will have a unique opportunity to contribute to ATB through challenging, meaningful and diverse opportunities and make a positive impact for our clients and each other.

As ATB’s next Analyst, Business Banking StudentYou will assist the leaders of the Rural Business Banking team in executing on our short and long term tactical plans in line with the overall long-term ATB Business strategy. As the successful candidate, you will develop a foundational understanding of Business Banking.
Accountabilities- Preparation of loan advisories and Applications for Credit (“AFCs”) on assigned portfolios within your designated Area of Expertise (“AOE”), with direct oversight of Relationship Manager and Director.
- Assist Relationship Managers with the completion of Term Sheets.
- Assist Relationship Managers with Client monitoring and control procedures (margining, covenants, security reviews, audit requests).
- Attend Client / Bank meetings when possible, and consider a case by case basis.
- Special projects as required.
- Enrolled in or completed a Bachelors in Business Administration, Finance, Management or related field.
- Have a strong sense of personal accountability. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and proactively takes personal accountability to ensure that deliverables are accurate and of high quality.
- Come with an inquisitive and growth mindset. Be confident to ask questions, seek information, dissect problems, and suggest innovative solutions.
- Effective in business writing and creating presentations.
- Proficient with using spreadsheets.
- Data reporting & dashboard tools.
