Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM

• 3x12 schedule with every other weekend required (6 weekends per contract)

• Patient ratio of 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends

• Float required within skillset

• Holidays based on unit needs

• 24 hours of orientation provided

• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS

• 2 years of telemetry experience required

• First time travelers accepted

• Must have either compact license or MD license

• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions

• Care for adult patients with cardiac monitoring needs

• Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required

• Must be proficient with Cerner charting system

• Skills include cardiac telemetry, blood product administration, central line care, wound care, chest tube management, and various cardiac procedures

• Work with specialized equipment including ceiling lifts, Sabina lifts, 12 lead EKGs, and telestroke technology
