Role SummaryThe Distribution Center Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for supporting inbound and outbound operations by accurately receiving, moving, staging, and shipping product in a fast‑paced distribution center environment. This role requires attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and flexibility to support multiple areas of the operation as business needs evolve.
What you'll do- Receive and verify incoming products against invoices, packing slips, and shipping documentation
- Accurately document deliveries, shortages, damages, and discrepancies according to established procedures
- Load and unload trailers and containers safely and efficiently
- Move product between lower and upper levels of the distribution center
- Stage, pre‑sort, and prepare freight for processing and outbound shipment
- Operate manual and electric pallet jacks and other material‑handling equipment as trained
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
- Cross‑train and work in multiple areas of the distribution center as needed
- Follow all TPS policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Respect local ordinances by ensuring trucks are loaded, unloaded, and operated only during approved time frames
- Perform other duties as assigned by distribution center leadership
- Be a TPS brand ambassador

- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow written instructions, policies, and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., push/pull up to 100 lbs., climb ladders, and stand/walk up to 6 consecutive hours.
- Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motion
- Experience with material handling equipment preferred (forklift, pallet jacks, lifts).
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, and extended hours during seasonal peaks.
- Forklift and RF scanning experience a plus
- Prior dock or warehouse experience preferred but not required
- Warehouse environment with variable temperatures.
- Exposure to noise, moving equipment, and physical labor.
