Position Summary

As a Dispensary Retail Associate for our 130 Pioneer Dr. Leominster, MA location, you ll have the opportunity to learn and engage in the entire workflow of the dispensary day to day. You will learn all positions within retail to create a versatile, flexible workforce able to adapt to any situation, fostering a team-oriented atmosphere beyond the typical retail experience. You will report to the Leominster retail leadership team.

You ll provide personalized and compassionate service to our adult use customers, leveraging cannabis knowledge and knowledge of state regulations to guide product selection. You ll support fulfillment operations to ensure dispensary efficiency and compliance with company policies and state regulations. We are looking for someone who is passionate about cannabis products, possesses strong customer service and consultancy skills, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist adult use customers with product selection, answering questions about strains, cannabinoids, terpenes, dosage, and consumption methods.
  • Offer tailored product recommendations for adult use customers based on buying behavior and preferences to drive brand satisfaction and meet sales metrics.
  • Resolve customer or patient complaints quickly and professionally or escalate to a Manager on Duty when necessary.
  • Accurately process and dispense products to customers using the POS system and inventory tracking systems in compliance with company policies and state regulations.
  • Partner with retail leadership to ensure the product menu and website reflect accurate testing and pricing information and report any sales audit discrepancies.
  • Assist with inventory operations including labeling, restocking, receiving, and handling shipments in accordance with state regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies, including checking identification and verifying eligibility for adult use cannabis products.
  • Accurately process transactions through the POS system and necessary state portals, maintaining cash handling accuracy and following cash handling procedures.
  • Adapt to sales volume changes by engaging in continuous learning and sanitization or cleaning of the dispensary when not prioritizing customer transactions.
  • Attend and participate in training sessions and staff meetings to stay informed about new products, promotions, programs, SOPs, and company policies and expand knowledge through cannabis education.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively with co-workers and management and assisting with other department operations including opening and closing the dispensary as needed.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Open availability required for scheduling
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Must pass a comprehensive background check annually per Cannabis Control Commission and Revolutionary Clinics regulations
  • 1+ years of retail experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior cannabis industry experience
  • Prior POS system experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
Environment & Compliance

Environmental Factors:
Employees may be required to bend, squat, kneel, crouch, climb, crawl, perform repetitive hand movements, and/or walk intermittently. Employees may be exposed to company-approved chemicals for sanitation and production purposes. Team members will be exposed to cannabis and cannabis products on site.
