Real Estate, Probate, and Estate Planning Paralegal

Overview

Gelinas and Ward, LLP is seeking a full-time or part-time Real Estate, Probate, and Estate Planning Paralegal to join our team.

• Collaborate with clients on phone, email, and in person to meet their legal needs
• Assist attorney in probate and estate planning matters
• Assist attorney with real estate matters
• Manage estate administration, including asset distribution and probate court filings

• Experience with estate planning/probate practice
• Experience with real estate practice (including drafting transaction documents, settlement statements, recording, navigating the registry of deeds)
• Proficiency in drafting estate planning documents and deeds
• Manage trust distributions and probate filings
• 3+ years’ relative experience
• Paralegal certification preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is necessary
• Strong communication and organizational skills
