A K-12 school in Leominster, MA is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide support during a maternity leave through mid-April 2026. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to work directly with students in person, delivering essential speech therapy services within a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-12 according to individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication development.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and reports.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the creation of student goals and interventions.
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs, including teletherapy if necessary.
- Certification as Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or licensure appropriate for schools.
- Experience as an SLP or SLPA in school or healthcare settings, especially Pediatrics.
- Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery models and pediatric populations is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and staff.
- Commitment to supporting student growth and development in a classroom setting.
Position is located on-site in Leominster, Massachusetts.
