Basic Function

Assumes overall responsibility for the sales service and maintenance of all assigned national accounts. Responsible for providing sales administrative support to all assigned customers, sales managers, and sales representatives.

Organizational Relationships

Reports directly to the National Accounts Program Manager. Works closely with the National Accounts Assistant Manager, National Accounts Sales Managers, National Accounts Project Coordinator, and Design Service Specialists.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all details regarding the accurate processing of purchase orders.
  • Assumes the responsibility as the primary phone and email contact for all assigned accounts.
  • Provides back-up support to all other department personnel as needed, including phone, e-mail, and accurate order maintenance and processing.
  • Creates and provides quotes to customers and clients as needed.
  • Receives and reviews requests from sales managers, sales representatives, and customers, and initiates appropriate actions.
  • Works closely with order entry to assure timely and accurate acknowledgement, scheduling, and changes of orders.
  • Monitors orders in production to ensure on-time completion and delivery.
  • Works with Director of Operations and Transportation department in expediting orders within assigned accounts.
  • Works closely with office and factory personnel to assist sales managers, sales representatives, and customers with administrative and product related questions.
  • Communicates order status to customers, sales managers, and sales representatives as needed.
  • Works with Director of Operations to address changes to orders already in production.
  • Ensures all customer sample requests are handled.
  • Maintains blanket stock inventory if necessary.
  • Provides updates for sales meetings as needed.
  • Maintains assigned spreadsheets and reporting.
  • Responsible for initiating any special action required for assigned accounts.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned by the National Accounts Program Manager.
