Provide quality customer service within the Perishable Department, maintaining standards per the standard practice manual, maximizing sales through excellent service, and minimizing shrink.

• Maintain an enthusiastic customer service environment, fast, friendly, and accurate.
• Assist other associates and maintain teamwork.
• Use company tools such as ACIS and CAO.
• Receive, code where applicable, rotate, and store deliveries.
• Observe policies and guidelines for ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning, and display.
• Maintain proper product levels in the Perishable Department (meat, lunchmeat, frozen, dairy, ice cream).
• Process beef and grinds according to the production tool.
• Wrap, label, weigh, and stock meat cases as needed.
• Assemble, disassemble, and clean the grinder as requested.
• Clean and sanitize the department regularly.
• Maintain variety and layout standards.
• Utilize advertising and sales promotion materials.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines.
• Report accidents per established procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulations.
• Wear uniform with apron, badge, and adhere to dress code.
• Complete CBT, Training Packet, and Training Aid courses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer‑service skills.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age and physical requirements.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Use of computers and communication systems.
• Repetitive hand and arm motions.
• Lift up to 15 lbs continuously, 25 lbs frequently, 50 lbs on occasion.
• Pull or push up to 75 lbs on occasion.
• Stand 100 % of the time, frequent short-distance walking.
• Handle cleaning and packaging materials.
• Reach and grasp at waist level, occasionally above shoulder or below waist.
• Meet volume activity standards.
• Tolerate extreme hot/cold temps up to 20 min at a time.
