Summary
  • Starting Wage $30 per hour depending on experience
  • Schedule:

    Night shift (8:00 pm to 8:00 am)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform trouble shooting, calibration, and repair of production equipment as needed to always keep lines operational.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to identify and replace failed components such as bearings, belts, motors, etc.
  • Can read and interpret equipment manuals, drawings, schematics, blueprints, and work orders to perform required maintenance.
  • Dismantles/disassembles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts, using specifications and/or blueprints, precision measuring instruments, and hand tools.
  • Calibrations and adjustments on various types of devices and production control systems.
  • Understands facilities, mechanical/electrical systems and their component functions and relationships; and is competent in their troubleshooting and repair.
  • Assist other maintenance and production team members as required in support of plant goals.
  • Equipment selection – able to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to perform the work.
Required Qualifications
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Maintenance Program Certification or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance capacity in a production setting.
  • Demonstrated proficiency or documented certifications in at least 8/10 of the following skills: electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting/programming, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, compressors, welding, plumbing, conveyors, hydraulics, and pumps.
  • Installation, troubleshooting, repair knowledge of electrical systems including 480v and below.
  • Demonstrated proficiency or documented certifications for diagnosing & troubleshooting 24V controls systems and devices.
  • Able to interface and cooperate well with production line workers and supervisors, with a strong customer service mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify areas of improvement driving efficiency, profitability, or safety improvements.
  • Basic math, reading, and computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel, Outlook).
  • Manufacturing safety program familiarity (PPE, LOTO, Arc Flash).
  • Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking.
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team.
  • Ability to operate cranes, forklift, and other related equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with plastic production equipment a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
  • Pushing, pulling, lifting at least 50 lbs.
  • Eye/hand coordination.
