Pediatric Urgent Care PRN APP Opportunity in Beautiful Western, NC

UNC Caldwell is the choice for health care in the Greater Hickory Metro area of North Carolina. The Emergency Department sees approximately 30,000 visits a year. The 137-bed hospital is a member of the UNC Health System. Caldwell is seeking an experienced NP or PA for a PRN position in a busy Pediatric Care Urgent Care practice with a team of experienced partners.

• Location in the Blue Ridge Mountains - the heart of Northwestern North Carolina
• Temperate climate with 4 seasons with a variety of things to do: outdoor recreation, art, music, cycling, water sports, hiking and more
• Proximity to higher education opportunities:
  Appalachian State University in Boone, NC;
  Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, NC;
  Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute in Hudson, NC; and an excellent pre-K thru 12 Public School System that includes an Early College High School
• One hour-and-ten-minutes travel time each to:
  Charlotte Douglas International Airport; the eclectic attractions of Asheville; the arts and history of Winston-Salem; and only 20 minutes to the North Carolina High Country and the mountain seasonal resort community of Blowing Rock.

• Two women and children traditional practices provide a steady patient base.
• Busy mature practice needs one PRN NP or PA as needed
• Location
  - The Falls Pediatric (4355 Hickory Blvd. Suite 3 Granite Falls, NC 28630)
• The Falls Pediatrics Hours- 8 am to 7:30 pm, Monday through Friday & 10 am to 4 pm, Saturday and Sunday
• Pediatric NP preferred but not required
• Due to practice volume, experience is required
