Hematology & Medical Oncology APP Opportunity - Western, NC

Caldwell UNC Health is the preferred healthcare provider in Caldwell County. The Emergency Department handles over 30,000 visits annually. Caldwell Physician Network & UNC Physicians Network deliver primary and select specialty care across thirteen medical park locations in the county. Our 137-bed hospital is part of the UNC Health System. We are seeking a personable and engaging hematology/oncology APP to join our team!

Position Features:

• Office locations at McCreary Cancer Center, a service of UNC Hospitals: 212 Mulberry Street SW, Lenoir, NC & 160 River Bend Drive, Granite Falls, NC
• Full-time position with a minimum of 36 patient contact hours per week
• Supportive team including one Hem/Onc physician, three APPs, a Radiation Oncologist, and over 40 support staff
• 16,313 sq ft Cancer Center equipped with a Linear Accelerator, CT Simulation, Infusion, Pharmacy, Lab, and comprehensive supportive services, plus a 3,500 sq ft satellite facility
• Established in 2006, the Cancer Center is a well-regarded resource serving Caldwell County and beyond, with offices on two ends of the county to minimize patient travel
• Consistently ranked in the 99th percentile for patient satisfaction
• On-site infusion services requiring supervision, pharmacy for sterile compounding, and lab for quick results
