Vending Route Driver

Job Summary

to see a day in the life of a Canteen Route Driver!

Summary:

The Route Driver drives a company vehicle over an established route to deliver products, fill and maintain vending and related equipment, represent the company professionally, and build excellent client and customer relationships.

• Maintain proper inventory levels and product distribution for vending machines.
• Perform product rotation to ensure freshness at designated client locations.
• Provide client and customer satisfaction in every aspect of job performance.
• Inform regular clients and customers of new products or services, listen to and resolve service complaints.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays or issue sales promotion materials to customers.
• Accountable for all receipt of goods, invoices, delivery tickets, cash received or collected and product.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 3 years driving experience required.
• Valid Non‑CDL Class C driver’s license.
• Preferred 1‑2 years experience in a customer service position, or a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Proficient with handheld computer; training provided.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs consistently.
• Ability to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment.
• Able to work independently; responsible for route and work unsupervised 98% of the work day.

Total pay range: $17.50 to $22.50 per hour. Internal employee referral bonus available. Commission eligibility may apply.
