About The Role

Architectural Craftsmen is seeking a highly skilled Residential Carpenter II to work on high-quality remodeling and historic renovation projects throughout the Kansas City area. This role is ideal for an experienced carpenter who consistently delivers high-level craftsmanship, works with minimal supervision, and helps elevate standards on the jobsite.

Location:

Fort Leavenworth, KS | Full-Time

• Perform advanced framing, demolition, trim, cabinetry, and finish carpentry
• Interpret and execute work from detailed plans and drawings with minimal oversight
• Take ownership of assigned scopes of work from layout through completion
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites
• Use tools and materials safely and correctly
• Support and guide Carpenter I team members and apprentices
• Identify potential field issues and communicate proactively with leadership

• 7+ years of residential carpentry experience
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods and sequencing
• High-level finish carpentry skills and precision craftsmanship
• Strong plan-reading and layout ability
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Professional and confident in client-facing environments
• Experience with historic homes, remodeling, or high-end residential work preferred

• Residential remodeling and renovation jobsites
• Team-based environment with experienced craftsmen
• Emphasis on safety, craftsmanship, and professionalism

• $34 - $39 per hour based on experience and demonstrated skill
• 90-day performance review
• Opportunity to grow into Senior Carpenter or Lead Carpenter roles
