Our client is currently seeking an experienced EHS manager for their local manufacturing facility. As a Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the manufacturing process complies with all safety, environmental and transportation regulations. In this role you will support internal stakeholders within manufacturing, warehousing, distribution and logistics from raw material receipt through finished goods shipment. The ideal candidate will have industry experience and a positive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Salary: $108k – 125k
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00-5:00pm.
What’s the Job?
- Support compliance with occupational safety and health regulations, participate in hazard assessments and incident investigations, support chemical handling programs, and assist with employee training related to hazardous materials.
- Support air emissions and VOC management, waste and hazardous waste compliance, spill prevention programs, environmental permitting, audits, and sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with DOT, IMDG, IATA, and related dangerous goods regulations.
- Support classification, packaging, marking, labeling, documentation, and training for compliant shipment of raw materials.
- Evaluate regulatory impacts of new products and process changes, monitor regulatory developments, communicate risks, and support internal compliance assessments.
- Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams to integrate compliance into daily operations and serve as a technical compliance resource.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in EHS, regulatory, or transportation compliance.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, environmental regulations, and hazardous materials transportation requirements.
- This role operates in manufacturing, warehouse, and office environments with periodic travel.
