Carrier Sales Representative

Description

The Carrier Onboarding Representative is responsible for sourcing and vetting carrier services, while always focusing on growing long‑term relationships with carriers. The role offers ample growth opportunities and a fast‑paced environment. You will be trained directly on a small team, empowered to make decisions that impact the business, and on a path to growth without strict tenure requirements.

• Find excitement in working with new people daily on the phone.

• Build long‑standing relationships with new and existing carriers and co‑workers to support customer needs.
• Continuously source new carrier partners and engage underutilized partner carriers.
• Accountable for tracking and tracing all pickups and deliveries.
• Resolve service issues and failures while working with the management team.
• Use strong negotiation skills to help minimize transportation spend.
• Assist support departments as needed.

• Communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
• Understand urgency and time‑critical operations to support business needs.
• Highly motivated, competitive, personable, and outgoing.
• Strong communication, decision‑making, time management, presentation, sales, and negotiation skills.
