The Carrier Onboarding Representative is responsible for sourcing and vetting carrier services, while always focusing on growing long‑term relationships with carriers. The role offers ample growth opportunities and a fast‑paced environment. You will be trained directly on a small team, empowered to make decisions that impact the business, and on a path to growth without strict tenure requirements.

- Find excitement in working with new people daily on the phone.
- Build long‑standing relationships with new and existing carriers and co‑workers to support customer needs.
- Continuously source new carrier partners and engage underutilized partner carriers.
- Accountable for tracking and tracing all pickups and deliveries.
- Resolve service issues and failures while working with the management team.
- Use strong negotiation skills to help minimize transportation spend.
- Assist support departments as needed.
- Communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
- Understand urgency and time‑critical operations to support business needs.
- Highly motivated, competitive, personable, and outgoing.
- Strong communication, decision‑making, time management, presentation, sales, and negotiation skills.
Problem‑solving skills and ability to research solutions to difficult issues.
Excellent organizational skills. - Proficient computer skills.

- Ability to work independently while supporting and being supported by a team.
