Job Title: Merchandising Associate- DIWM Team

Job Summary

Merchandising Associate is responsible for assisting in the merchandising and setup of store remodel and reset projects. These projects are 6–7 weeks long, with approximately 7 or 8 full projects per year. Paid training will be provided on site by the Project Leader and Team Leads assigned to the project. Some projects may require travel to out-of-market stores; others will be in the home market.

Travel will be reimbursed by mileage when required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Project Leader, Project Manager, and Construction Manager to ensure successful completion and implementation of project plans.
  • Engage and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Address lead-time problems, constraints, setbacks, or risks within each project.
  • Ensure all documents and materials are properly maintained throughout each project.
  • Set fixtures as required by manufacturer requirements, including anchoring, aligning, and leveling.
  • Order new fixtures or relocate existing fixtures using skates as needed.
  • Utilize store layouts provided by ACE planners to implement the new sales floor design.
  • Profile new and updated POGS (planograms) through the store using the same plans.
  • Receive new products, sort, and place them onto the new sets throughout the store.
  • Implement new store layouts as required; each store presents unique challenges and opportunities due to size and market differences.

Minimum Skills, Requirements and Qualifications
  • 5+ years’ experience in a retail setting (preferred).
  • Willingness to teach, train, and support the team.
  • Clear and concise communication with team and leadership; ability to partner as needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Standing, walking, lifting (50 lbs+), and climbing ladders or using lifts.
  • Travel may be required depending on store location.
Compensation Details

$45,000 to $55,000 per year
