Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Med Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment. This is a day shift opportunity offering consistent scheduling and no floating requirements. The ideal candidate is a team-oriented professional with strong clinical skills and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
Schedule Details- Shift: 12-hour days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend Rotation: Every Other Weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
- No Floating
- Provide direct patient care to adult Med Surg patients
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Accurately document patient care and progress
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge plans
- Active RN license (state-specific or compact, as applicable)
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent Med Surg experience
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred if required by facility)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
