Specimen Processor

Pride Health is hiring a Forensic Processing Technician to support our client’s medical facility, which is based in Lenexa, KS 66219
.

This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

$16.00/hr - $18.20/hr

Schedule: 5 am – 1:30 pm, Monday – Friday or 5 am – 1:30 pm, Tuesday – Saturday (40 hrs/week)

Location: Lenexa, KS 66219

Compensation note: Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials; the rate is based on years of DIRECT EXPERIENCE as listed in the resume.

• Has a preliminary but functional understanding of the QTN Lab Information System
• Sort specimens by source (hair, oral fluid, urine, etc.) and work list
• Completes Maxilog Data Entry
• Understands and adheres to strict forensic practices
• Capable of processing urine specimens for regulated and non-regulated testing independently
• Adheres to company policies and procedures
• Proficient with scanning/imaging all custody and control forms
• Capable of discarding negative specimens
• Performs flexilog on routine urine specimens at 70 CCFs per hour
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Work Experience: Prior laboratory experience preferred
• Other: Able to sit or stand for long periods, work in a laboratory environment, and adhere to safety requirements; excellent communication skills both written and verbal; practical knowledge of computer systems; commitment to customer satisfaction
• Needs to be able to lift 20 lbs.
