Registered Nurse - ED - Nights - Lenexa City Center
Join Advent Health’s Emergency Department as a full‑time night registered nurse in Lenexa. You will provide comprehensive assessment, individualized care plans, medication administration, patient education, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self‑care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
- Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
- Associate’s of Nursing (Required)
- Bachelor’s of Nursing (Preferred)
- Certification in Acute/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) - EV, Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) - EV, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - RQI, Basic Life Support (BLS) - RQI, Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN) - EV, Chemotherapy Certificate (CHEMO) - EV, Critical Care Registered Nurse – Tele‑ICU (CCRN‑E) – Accredited, Electronic Fetal Monitoring (CEFM) – EV, Neonatal Med Certification (NEONATAL MED) – Accredited, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – EV, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – EV, Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention Program – EV, Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) – EV, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – RQI, Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS) – EV, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer w/ OB/GYN Spec (RDMS‑OBGYN) – EV, Registered Nurse (RN) – EV, S.T.A.B.L.E.
