Assistant Press Operator
Location:

Schedule:
11:00 p.m.
- 7:00 a.m., Sunday-Thursday
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Press Assistant to join our flexible packaging manufacturing team. In this role, you'll work alongside a Press Operator to help prepare, run, and maintain high‑speed printing equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills in a stable, team‑oriented, and fast‑paced production environment.
What You Will Do
+ Assist the Press Operator with preparing the press and all job‑related materials
+ Monitor and adjust inks as needed, including checking ink viscosity on an hourly basis
+ Remove finished film from the machine and stage it on pallets for pickup
+ Retrieve and return inks to the ink room and clean machine components between jobs
+ Handle and manage hazardous waste in compliance with safety and environmental requirements
+ Follow all safety guidelines, wear required PPE, and meet OSHA standards
+ Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
+ Complete rework tasks as needed
What You Have to Offer

+ Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred
