Job Overview

This position's main function is to stock and replenish all supplies for the Screen Print and Packaging Departments. (i.e. boxes, hangers, bags, tape etc.) Position will also complete all basic aspects of finishing from steaming, folding and packaging of small orders.

Shift: Mon-Thu 7am-4pm & Fri 7am-11am

Pay: $17.00/hour

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities

• Become OSHA certified on forklift equipment used in Packaging Department
• Stocks and replenishes all supplies daily in Screen Print and Packaging
• Sends supplies to Border Warehouse and Near Shore as needed
• Uses handheld scanner to make transactions to bill supplies to correct departments
• Maintain inventoried supply items in Oracle using handheld scanner
• Reports to packaging manager supply levels so packaging manager can order additional supplies
• Keep packaging floor and back aisle clear of empty pallets.
• Physically places inventory in air locations with powered forklift
• Understand shop pack, obtains and sorts products and possesses the ability to locate order instructions.
• Understands meaning of all types of operation steps (remove solvy, attach pre-price, etc.) and performs operations step once it is identified (Example: hangtag, fold garments and hoop mark removal)
• Operates folding and bagging machines
• Packs small orders
• Communicate openly with Group Lead and Packaging Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience/Skills/Education Requirements

• Previous forklift experience is preferred, not required
• Ability to complete forklift certification provided by Gear
• Basic knowledge of PC's with ability to develop skills with Oracle
