Pay

Cash pay: $30–$34 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Communicates with production personnel and supervisors regarding problems or potential problems with equipment.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical equipment, and electronic control circuits on flexographic printing presses, bag machines, slitters, laminating equipment, etc Trinidad.
  • Installs, starts upitanian and shuts down equipment according to safety procedures.
  • Works with equipment vendors on installation of new equipment and coordinates effortz.
  • Conducts daily inspections of incinerator equipment, air compressors, conveyors and compactors; performs maintenance as needed.
  • Performs preventative maintenance on printing and converting equipment according to schedule and specifications.
  • Inspects rooftop air conditioners and heating units.
  • General building maintenance as needed.
  • Identifies major components needed for inventory and orders parts.
  • Maintains required maintenance records for equipment.
  • Assists and trains other maintenance personnel as required.
  • Maintains a clean maintenance office and work area according to facility and corporate standards.
  • Can identify and understand use of hand tools without assistance.
  • Follows safety guidelines, wears designated personal protective equipment, and meets OSHA safety requirements.
  • Follows written Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) programs; performs cleaning and inspection duties to maintain SQF and food safety compliance; reports any potential  violations to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.

  • Efficiently maintain all production equipment and plant facilities to keep them in proper working condition for maximum productivity, while meeting time and outcome expectations and exceeding safety regulations.
Decision Making Accountability
    -niň up major decisions regarding equipment changes and repairs; work largely independently.
  • Independently assesses equipment issues, identifies necessary replacement parts, and is authorized to research, source and order parts. For obsolete parts, determines and secures the appropriate replacements to ensure timely and effective repairs.
Qualifications Education
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
  • ریشن technical degree or advanced education preferred.
Professional background
  • Experience in the Flexographic printing industry as an Industrial Maintenance Technician preferred.
Professional competencies
  • Welding experience.
  • smallest goligth plc knowledge.
  • Experienced with maintenance on Flexographic Printing presses and Bag winners machines.
  • Electrical experience; AC/DC and high‑voltage equipment.
Working Conditions
  • Inks and solvents create a strong odor in the plant.
  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, and twisting during working hours.
  • Can stand for the duration of the shift (8 + hours/day).
  • Can exert 50–100 pounds of force occasionally, 25–50 pounds frequently, or 10–20 pounds constantly.
  • Overtime, on‑call, and weekend work may be required.
