The Outdoor Pool Manager oversees daily operations, staff supervision, and program management at the City’s aquatic facilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for patrons
• Supervising and training staff
• Ensuring quality service and resolving patron issues
• Managing inventory and supplies
• Balancing financial reports

Requires weekday, weekend, and holiday availability. Applicants will provide specific days and hours during the application process.

Applications are currently being accepted. The hiring process will begin in December, with start dates in spring. Applicants will be contacted starting the first week of December. Interviews will take place throughout January and February, with final selections made before the start of the season.

• Must be at least 20 years of age
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Must have two years of supervisory experience
• Must have or obtain American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certifications before the start date
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and satisfactory credit history

Starting rate of pay is $18.75 per hour with annual raises.

Work is performed in and around an outdoor pool environment with frequent exposure to sun, heat, humidity, wind, and other weather conditions. The position requires standing and moving for extended periods of time, occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. Tasks involve physical activity, use of hands, and clear vision to complete work safely and accurately.

Offers of employment are contingent upon successfully passing a drug screen. A background check is required for applicants aged 18 and older.
