IT Software Development Intern

PCG is looking for talented students to join our 2026 Summer Internship Program at our Corporate Headquarters in Lenexa, KS! This is a full‑time paid internship supporting our IT Software Development Department during the summer of 2026.

Applicants for the Summer program should be able to commit to a 10‑week internship, Monday through Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm.

This role is responsible for assisting with the following:

• Support the Information Technology teams in maintaining hardware, software, systems, and applications
• Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
• Shadow the Agile development group and participate in core ceremonies
• Lend support in various areas of IT such as cybersecurity, software development, quality assurance, and business analytics

This role is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship.

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program for Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a comparable field of study
• Must have reliable transportation to the office in Lenexa, KS
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to learn new job skills by engaging in the technical aspects of the job and applying new skills as they are taught
• Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to multitask

• Local to the Kansas City Metro Area
• Interest and/or past experience in AI, LLM, or agent creation
