Job DescriptionThis position is not remote; the employee must work onsite under a regular schedule. The role ensures successful execution and implementation of customized solutions and organizational initiatives by leveraging advanced root‑cause analysis, reporting, KPIs, SLAs, internal cross‑functional teams, and partner vendor relationships. The incumbent leads, manages, and coordinates delivery of an exceptional customer experience for IT services, support, and project deployments.
Responsibilities include daily management of cost, equipment inventory, system compliance, safety, and security of hardware, software, automation, and network infrastructure.
- Provides technical training and development to departmental resources and customers.
- Plans, monitors, and adjusts expenses to meet financial expectations and organizational metrics.
- Applies approved principles for evaluating and setting goals and measures to deliver results.
- Establishes professional relationships with customers through face‑to‑face engagement, collaboration, and consultative interactions.
- Utilizes technology to initiate, deploy, and track projects and support services during working hours.
- Performs technical, analytical, or maintenance work.
- Obtains knowledge through formal education in a vocational or technical degree program and on‑the‑job training.
- Works within standard operating procedures or scientific methods.
- Performs analytical, scientific, or operational processes with moderate supervision.
- Must be located in or willing to relocate to the job’s geographic location.
- Requires hardware, software, and database knowledge for integration with customer technology and systems, using remote support tools or onsite visits.
- Ability to communicate highly technical information to technical and non‑technical users.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems.
- Experience with VPN, Symantec, Remote Desktop Apps, Active Directory, and various web browsers (preferred).
- Technical certifications such as A+ or Network+ (preferred).
- Experience troubleshooting thermal printers (preferred).
- Physical ability to lift, lower, push, pull, carry, and manipulate equipment or parts weighing up to 70 lb (required).
- Requires travel by car to various UPS facilities (required).
- Required to travel overnight for periods of up to one week.
- Valid driver’s license (required).
