The QA Automation Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust automated testing frameworks for assigned products. This role requires a strong background in software testing methodologies, a proficiency in programming, and hands‐on experience with automation tools.

The engineer will be a key player in our product team, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure high‑quality, defect‑free releases and a continuous improvement of our testing processes.

Design, develop, and maintain in‑sprint test automation frameworks for assigned project(s) to ensure scalable and maintainable automation coverage.

Collaborate with developers and QA team members to build and maintain unit, regression, performance, and integration test suites that align with product quality goals.

Maintain and enhance test harnesses to detect defects early by executing automated tests regularly in STAGING and PROD environments, both pre‑and post‑deployment.

Auto‑schedule test executions, ensuring all test scripts, logs, and reports are organized and maintained in a centralized repository.

Follow automation coding standards and best practices to improve script quality, consistency, and cross‑team reusability.

Monitor automated test runs, analyze failures, report defects, and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.

Track QA Automation KPIs and metrics to measure efficiency of test coverage and share insights on how we can improve quality of work.

Drive toward 80% or higher automation coverage by collaborating closely with development and business teams to ensure test suite completeness and integration with related systems.

Engage with the product team to understand their workflow, assess if the system being built meets their requirements and report defects.

Collaborate with test automation engineers, product team to help speed up troubleshooting of production/sprint defects/incidents.

Maintain synchronization of test artifacts across JIRA Xray, Playwright, and Katalon test suites.

Continuously research and adopt new tools and frameworks to enhance automation reliability, test speed, and CI/CD integration.

Partner with Manager on Test Strategies, Test Automation Tool Evaluation and QA Process Improvement initiatives.

Integrate and maintain automation scripts within CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and faster release cycles.

Foster knowledge sharing and skill development in test automation best practices

Minimum 3 years of experience in QA automation, including end‑to‑end test development.

Experience with test automation frameworks:
Playwright, Katalon, Selenium, Cypress, Appium.

Experience with Android Studio, Xcode, Real‑device and emulator testing.

Proficiency in API testing tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools.

Experience in performance test automation (JMeter, Blaze Meter).

Expertise in Test Strategy, Test Automation, Test Design, Test Execution Analysis & Reporting.

Ability to identify automation candidates and convert manual test plans to automation scripts.

Strong communication skills to interact with the technology &product teams, and business stakeholders.

Good understanding of defect triage and reporting process.

Strong Troubleshooting skills and creative thinking to present viable solutions as problems arise.
