When your actions lead to success:
- Lead and execute all core HR programs for the site, including compensation and payroll oversight, benefits and leave administration, corrective actions, employee relations, investigations, performance and talent management, recognition, occupational health and safety, and training and development.
- Serve as the primary HR contact for all hourly and salaried employees, addressing employment‑related inquiries, resolving issues, and managing sensitive or complex matters with sound judgment and discretion.
- Build strong relationships with employees and leaders, serving as a trusted advisor who supports development, engagement, and a positive workplace culture.
- Oversee full‑cycle talent acquisition for the Lenexa facility—from crafting job descriptions to sourcing, interviewing, selecting, and onboarding new hires.
- Ensure accurate and compliant HR record‑keeping, including personnel files, attendance tracking, and other required documentation.
- Maintain full compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, ensuring policies and practices are current, consistent, and aligned with recommended HR best practices.
- Manage internal communications at the site, ensuring employee notices and updates are timely, accurate, and visible across communication boards and digital displays.
- Own the end‑to‑end employee experience, ensuring a smooth transition from candidate to new hire through the first 90 days of employment.
- Oversee all temporary labor processes, including agency partnership management, workforce planning with department leaders, and weekly payroll approvals.
- Contribute to culture‑building initiatives, including wellness programs, employee engagement activities, and continuous improvement efforts that support a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Champion a safe and healthy workplace by reinforcing safety policies, supporting OSHA compliance, and ensuring timely reporting of first‑aid incidents, accidents, and workplace hazards.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field; equivalent relevant experience considered.
- 3–5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading full‑cycle recruiting in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting; manufacturing recruiting experience strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including the ability to run and interpret HR reports, analyze data, and translate insights into action.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic, and constantly evolving environment.
- Strong time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Highly self‑directed and resourceful, with the ability to lead initiatives independently while also collaborating effectively with leaders and cross‑functional partners.
- Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Flexibility to support a 24/7 manufacturing operation, including periodic availability across multiple shifts.
