Job Description

Assembles and accurately arranges instrument trays. Sterilizes instruments following established protocols. Returns sterile instruments to their designated locations. Stocks and maintains patient care equipment. Manages the decontamination process for surgical instruments. Communicates with operating room staff to assist with instrument turnovers. Handles the cleaning and sterilization of vendor instruments. Supports operating room staff with patient positioning and transportation. Monitors and ensures the proper functioning of sterilization equipment.

Maintains inventory and orders supplies as needed. Adheres to safety and infection control policies. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

  • High School Grad or Equiv (Required)
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
Pay Range

$17.52 - $28.04
