Summary
The Treasury Management Implementation and Servicing Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the onboarding, implementation, maintenance, and servicing of treasury management products and services for commercial members. In addition, this position will include working with the sales and operation teams to support data gathering and commercial account openings. This role serves as a key operational partner and liaison to Treasury Management Sales, Commercial Banking, Operations, and Digital Banking teams to ensure there is a seamless member experience.
The specialist provides technical and operational support for cash management solutions including online banking platforms, ACH, wire services, remote deposit capture (RDC), mobile deposit, positive pay, and other commercial banking solutions.
This role requires strong attention to detail, compliance awareness, and the ability to manage multiple commercial account openings and implementations simultaneously while delivering exceptional service to business members across a nationwide footprint.
Duties & Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage end-to-end implementation of treasury management products and services.
- Conduct member onboarding calls to review service setup, documentation requirements, system configuration, and timelines.
- Configure products and services within core and ancillary systems, including online banking, remote deposit capture and positive pay systems.
- Ensure required documentation (agreements, resolutions, ACH authorizations, etc.) is properly completed, approved and retained.
- Partner with Treasury Management Sales and Commercial Relationship Managers to ensure accurate product setup is aligned with member needs.
- Partner with operations, IT, digital banking, and risk management teams to improve processes and member experience.
- Perform testing and validation of ACH files, wire templates, RDC setup, positive pay configuration and other electronic services prior to go-live.
- Provide training to business members on digital banking platforms.
- Serve as primary operational support contact for treasury management related inquiries.
- Identify opportunities to streamline onboarding and servicing workflows.
- Assist in development of procedures and training materials.
- Research and resolve issues related to ACH, wires, online banking, positive pay exceptions, and other services related to treasury management.
- Process maintenance requests, including limit modifications, user access changes, account updates, and service modifications.
- Monitor daily treasury reports, including ACH returns and commercial overdrafts and exception items to ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare product onboarding risk assessment for moderate to high-risk product offerings and prepare annual reviews of treasury management services and documentation.
- Support audit and compliance requests, including documentation retrieval and internal reporting.
- Participate in system upgrades, product enhancements, and conversion activities.
- Follow internal controls and procedures related to dual control, transaction limits, and fraud mitigation.
- Escalate suspicious or high-risk activity to appropriate departments.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of treasury management regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with NACHA, Reg CC, BSA/AML, OFAC, and other applicable regulations.
- Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with the credit union’s values, philosophies, and leadership characteristics.
