Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year
Job DetailsWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Engineer for a client with offices in Wichita, KS and Kansas City. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges for various commercial projects.
Responsibilities- Design and analyse structural systems for various types of buildings and facilities, including all types of commercial structures, ensuring all designs meet applicable codes and standards.
- Utilise specialised software such as Revit for the creation and modification of 3D structural models.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors and other engineers to ensure the successful execution of structural projects.
- Conduct site inspections to assess the condition of structures and recommend necessary improvements or modifications.
- Provide technical guidance to junior designers.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification or EIT certification is required.
- Minimum of 3 years in structural engineering with commercial project experience.
- Proficiency in Revit and other structural engineering software.
- Experience in designing and analysing structures made of concrete, masonry and other materials.
