Field Engineer

Position located in Lenexa, KS. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing field operations to ensure successful project completion.

• Develop and implement comprehensive work plans for field operations, including early logistical planning and daily work planning.
• Coordinate departmental activities for field planning and execution.
• Perform project quantity take-offs and manage project controls.
• Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly reports on departmental controls.
• Contribute to departmental scheduling and ensure alignment with overall project schedule deadlines, budgets, and impacts.
• Understand project specifications, procedures, and codes required for project completion.
• Review and verify construction drawings for adherence to specifications and contractual requirements.
• Administer subcontractor relationships, including contract management, onboarding, and integration into the company.
• Submit Requests for Information (RFIs) to the client, subcontractor, or required parties.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note).
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills, including the ability to research and solve engineering and construction problems while managing multiple tasks daily.
• Experience working independently to resolve issues and ensure timely, efficient project completion.
• Knowledge of and experience with computer programs such as Navis Works, Revit, UPV, and Bluebeam.
