Job Description

This role involves managing glass and glazing projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and safety. The Sr. Project Manager will play a critical part in the successful execution of these projects.

Responsibilities

* Actively participate in and adhere to safety plans and measures for all assigned projects.

* Understand and comply with corporate safety guidelines.

* Create and manage punch lists proactively.

* Be accountable for Quality Control measures as outlined in the QA/QC program for assigned projects.

* Prepare Requests for Information (RFI), submittals, and shop drawings.

* Have a clear understanding of building systems and their relationship to the building process.

* Coordinate activities to maximize productivity.

* Perform quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders.

* Create and implement job schedules, coordinate with field supervisors and foremen, and effectively communicate issues to negotiate optimal work sequences.

* Perform labor control on assigned projects, making adjustments as necessary to maximize profits.

* Coordinate warranties and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) documents.

* Assist in selecting vendors and coordinating materials and equipment.

* Assist in the buyout of subcontractors, issue contracts, and manage subcontractor work, including billings and change orders.

* Complete job cost control measures through monthly Financial Analysis Worksheets (FAW) on assigned projects.

* Support positive customer relations and actively participate in the Customer Alignment Plan.

Essential Skills

* At least 8 years of experience in Construction Management.

* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related discipline, or comparable work experience.

* Experience with estimating, project management, and managing glass and glazing scopes of construction.

* Ability to diagnose key information, recognize critical areas impacting profitability, and navigate projects away from risks.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.

* Clear understanding of specifications and drawings.

* Strong oral and written communication skills.

* Teamwork capability and strong customer service skills.

* Ability to multitask, critical think, and problem-solve.

* Willingness to learn new job skills and apply them effectively.

Skills & Qualifications

* Experience with glass and glazing is preferred.

* Experience managing projects valued at $1M or more.

* Working knowledge of On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, and Procore.

Work Environment

The position is based on-site in Lenexa, KS, with projects across the Kansas City metro area. Minimal to no travel is required.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lenexa, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $118700.00 - $159000.00/yr.

ESOP, Bonus potential up to 60% of base salary depending on branch performance. 20 days of PTO. 12 Paid Holidays. $1025 Vehicle Allowance. 6% 401K match.

This is a fully onsite position in Lenexa,KS.
