Kiewit Nuclear Solutions is seeking entry level Structural Engineers. We are looking for ideal candidates to grow the Kiewit team by helping establish, maintain, and improve company standards and tools while also using these standards and tools to contribute to project success. Candidates shall be familiar with current drawing and technical tools, programs, and software with an understanding of design documentation creation and layouts.

Responsibilities- Apply your knowledge of materials, structural steel design, and reinforced concrete design.
- Perform structural analysis and design of steel frames, connections, concrete members, equipment and piping supports, and foundations for both static and dynamic load cases for a variety of projects.
- Assist in the preparation of design calculation packages, develop structural technical specifications, and support designers with design drawing development (based on the analysis performed) for use in work package development and construction activities.
- Support structural estimation and bid development for project proposals.
- Potential travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews and to plant site locations for construction coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering from an ABET‑accredited university required; EIT certification preferred.
- GPA above 3.0 preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; preferred experience with structural analysis software (SAP
2000, RISA, AutoCAD, Revit, FEA). - Strong work ethic and initiative required.
- Must be a US citizen with documentation for badge access.
- Pass a security questionnaire and background check appropriate to position duties.
- Regular, reliable attendance.
- Work productively and meet deadlines timely.
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment.
- Perform work safely and effectively, following oral and written instructions, warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
- Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
- Work overtime and weekends as required.
- May work at various different locations and conditions may vary.
