Business Integration & Automation Intern

Brief Description

The Business Integration & Automation Intern will support process optimization, compliance governance, and data analytics initiatives within the Business Integration team. This role is ideal for a highly analytical, systems-oriented student interested in supply chain operations, business intelligence, and automation using Microsoft tools and AI technologies.

This internship will focus on building scalable tools and governance processes that reduce risk, improve visibility, and enhance operational efficiency.

• Review, update, and organize customer compliance guides
• Standardize documentation structure and version control
• Design and implement a sustainable process to ensure guides remain current
• Create centralized access structure within Microsoft 365 (SharePoint/Teams)

• Design and build an automated chargeback tracking tool using Microsoft tools (Excel, Power Automate, SharePoint Lists, Power BI)
• Develop workflows for intake, root cause assignment, and escalation
• Explore AI‑assisted automation for data classification and trend identification
• Document process flows and governance controls

• Create KPI dashboards and executive reporting views
• Develop chargeback trend analytics and root cause visibility tools
• Design performance metrics tied to compliance and operational risk
• Support development of visual dashboards in Power BI or Excel

• Must be currently enrolled in University of Georgia, University of South Carolina, University of Cincinnati, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of Southern California, University of Maryland
• Pursuing degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, Power Automate, Power BI) preferred
• Interest in process improvement, automation, and AI applications
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Detail‑oriented with ability to structure unorganized data

• Real‑world experience in process governance and systems integration
• Exposure to supply chain compliance and retail operations
• Hands‑on experience building automation workflows
• Experience designing dashboards
• Cross‑functional exposure across Sales, Operations, Customer Service, EDI, Finance, and IT
