Wachter is accepting resumes for a detail-oriented and reliable Revenue Support Specialist to join our finance team in the Lenexa, KS office. This role is responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the department with administrative and transactional tasks. After the in-office training is complete, this role will be a hybrid position.

- Assist with day-to-day accounting operations.
- Maintain accurate financial records.
- Review and validate project setup as it relates to the customer contract and how revenue will be earned for work done.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Legal, Finance, Operations) to ensure accurate data capture and resolve issues.
- Review documentation, maintain accurate records of discussions and resulting decisions made, and assist with internal and external audits.
- Review existing processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement to enhance operational efficiency and prevent revenue leakage.
Education:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in project accounting is a plus.
- Able to read and comprehend contracts.
- Experience with legal documentation is helpful.
- Work history in customer service, bookkeeping, accounts receivable, and administrative support, preferably within a fast-paced corporate, medical, or legal setting.
- Exceptional customer service and able to sustain a positive client relationship.
- Outstanding communication skills; verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and follow-up skills.
- Works well independently with a proactive, self-motivated approach.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Enjoys investigating or determining facts.
- High degree of accuracy.
- Excellent reasoning and logic skills.
- Collaborates and works well with a team.
- Exemplary problem-solving skills.
- Highly proficient with the use of computers, including email, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office programs.
$20 - $25 an hour
