- Proactively engages, connects and listens to customers by asking questions to determine customers’ needs.
- Directs customers to merchandise; informs them about upcoming events, promotions, mobile offers, STAR card promotions while providing premier customer service.
- Maintains store appearance.
- Uses a Point‑of‑Sale system to process cash exchanges, discounts, gift cards, credit cards, debit cards (cash handling), including counting money and returning accurate amounts to customers.
As a Navy Exchange Service Command employee, you will have the opportunity to support the communities we serve by becoming an integral part of the NAS Lemoore Housing community and Elementary School.
Qualifications / Requirements- Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to perform job duties.
- Must pass a pre‑employment criminal background check.
- Previous Retail Experience preferred but not required.
- Be available to work a variety of hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
