At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role is Nutrition Production Clerk Rate $21.64 - $24.34 (Break in rates and $0.75 cents differential pay from 6PM - 5:59AM applies).
Summary DescriptionThe Production Clerk is responsible for processing data as well as providing Nutrition Supervisors/Managers accurate and timely reports to better enable those management personnel to make proper decisions and adjustments to have a position effect on safety, quality and financials.
Job Description- Works independently, with nutrition supervisors and managers to support Nutrition operations
- Check logs for errors, accuracy and completeness, make corrections as needed to Daily Production, Packaging Logs and Tickets.
- Complete Lactose Bacti, Enter accurate packaging logs, dryer and final test results.
- Complete/Print/Post Dept graphs:
Problem Lactose, Lactose in Spec and Lactose Y&E - Pull weekly info, Run Spec reports.
- Ordering and Picking up supplies
- Filing
- Organize and keep hard copies of log sheets in filing cabinets. Keep records for required retention time. - P-card reconciliation
- LQ Tracking-Keep binder and track teams.
- Safety form tracking
- Protein Tracking-Ensure all info is entered into spreadsheet. Track End of Run test results before drying dying to compare with final results.
- Updating weekly information and spec reports for:
Problem Protein & MWPC Graphs, and Protein MWP Y&E graphs, WHEY UP Corp, UF Membrane mapping , and MWPC merged data. - BOD-Tracking-Enter waste water info.
- Provide clerical support to supervisors and managers.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Proficient knowledge in excel, power point and word
- Professional demeanor for employee and management interactions and problem solving
- Must be able to lift 55lbs
- 1-2 years previous experience in a clerical role within a food manufacturing environment preferred
- Proficient software skills in Excel such as charts, graphs, reports, create pivot tables and SAP.
- Must be flexible with daily workload and direction setting.
- Must be organized, able to work independently, and able to multi-task
- This position reports to the Department Managers.
- This position will regularly interact with other production and support group supervisors. Regular interaction with other plant management.
- Ability to speak, read, and write the English language.
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
- Ability to access elevated work areas such as climbing ladders/stairs.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and comply with all applicable safety practices.
- Ability to work any shift, weekends, holidays and possible overtime.
