We are recruiting front office Medical Receptionists to join our team in one of our state‑of‑the‑art health centers. As the first point of contact for patients, you will help elevate patient care and leave a lasting impact in your local community.

Responsibilities
  • Works closely with the Medical Reception Supervisor and clinic management team to provide prompt clerical support, promote smooth patient flow, collect and record data accurately, and maintain order of the front office, equipment and supplies.
  • Achieves the organizational mission to provide health care access for all community members, ensuring patients and families receive the care they need promptly.
  • Consistently and openly communicates with supervisors and all staff.
  • Works flexible or extended hours where necessary.
  • Participates in health‑center in‑services and meetings, listening to and respecting others’ ideas.
  • Abides by rules of confidentiality.
Education
  • High School graduate or GED required.
  • Completed training program in Medical Office Assisting from an accredited college preferred.
Prior Experience
  • 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
License / Certification
  • Valid driver’s license.
Skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
  • Able to quickly build and maintain rapport with patients and providers from diverse backgrounds; team player.
  • Customer‑service oriented.
  • Familiar with adult learning and general training techniques.
  • Positive professional insight.
  • Flexibility and dependability.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving skills and sound judgment.
  • Effective leadership/supervisory skills.
  • Modern office practices and procedures, including email.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent follow‑through on work tasks.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and push up to 50 pounds on wheels.
  • Must be able to hear staff on the phone and those served in‑person, and speak clearly to communicate information to patients and staff.
  • Must be able to read memos, computer screens, personnel forms, and clinical and administrative documents.
  • Must have high manual dexterity.
  • Must be able to reach above shoulder level, bend, squat, sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, kneel, and twist/turn.
Compensation & Benefits

The pay range for this non‑exempt position starts at $21 per hour, dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.
