- Write and publish stories for the website and digital platforms.
- Monitor news releases and social media.
- Enterprising original digital content with SEO optimization.
- Track what drives online traffic and pitch trending story ideas during morning and afternoon editorial meetings.
- As an on-air meteorologist, develop forecasts, create weather graphics, and regularly update weather content across web and social platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in meteorology is preferred.
- Experience with the Baron Lynx weather system is a plus.
- Experience with ENPS and Edius is a plus.
- Strong understanding of AP style.
