Site Agent Desalination Project

Location: Sizewell, Suffolk
Sector: Civil Engineering / Infrastructure
Salary: Competitive + Package

An established civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Agent to support the delivery of a major desalination infrastructure project at Sizewell. This is a key role within a large infrastructure programme supporting utilities and major construction works in the region.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing site operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day site operations across civils packages including earthworks, reinforced concrete structures, drainage, pipelines and associated infrastructure works

  • Ensure works are delivered safely in line with CDM regulations and company health & safety procedures

  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, site engineers, and foremen to maintain programme delivery

  • Monitor progress against programme and provide updates to the project management team

  • Ensure all works meet quality standards and project specifications

  • Manage site documentation including RAMS, ITPs, and permits

  • Coordinate with client representatives, design teams and project stakeholders

  • Support cost control by monitoring labour, plant and material usage

Experience Required

  • Civil Engineering Degree (essential)

  • Proven experience working as a Site Agent or Sub-Agent within civil engineering

  • Experience delivering major infrastructure or utilities projects

  • Strong background in reinforced concrete, pipelines, drainage, and heavy civils

  • Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams

  • Strong understanding of health & safety and quality assurance processes

  • Experience working within highly regulated project environments
