We are looking for a self-motivating, confident person with excellent communication and personal skills to join our team, providing support and guidance to children and their families in the Bedfordshire area.

To be an active member of the multi-professional 0-19 team, supporting the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme across Luton and Bedfordshire.
Responsibilities- Perform delegated clinical tasks independently e.g. weighing and measuring babies in clinic and at home, undertake growth measurements in schools for the National Childhood Measurement Programme, complete newborn bloodspot testing.
- Provide care for children and families as directed by the Specialist Community Public Health Nurses or other members of the team and feedback the findings from this contact to the accountable caseload holder.
- Provide individualised and group support to families to encourage and support breast feeding and appropriate weaning when required.
- Carry clinical and other equipment short distances using light to moderate effort, e.g. infant / child weighing scales when necessary.
- Offer support to individuals to enable them to access other services and organisations.
