Keep Education is currently recruiting Supply Teachers to support primary and secondary schools in Leighton Buzzard. Whether you are looking for daily supply, long‑term placements, or a pathway back into permanent teaching, we offer flexible opportunities to suit your schedule and career goals.

As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver high‑quality lessons across different year groups and subjects, ensuring continuity of learning when the regular teacher is absent. Assignments can be pre‑booked or arranged on the day, giving you flexibility and variety.

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons following school planning
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Adapt quickly to new classroom environments and expectations
• Mark work and provide feedback where required
• Maintain safeguarding and promote the welfare of all pupils
• Communicate effectively with school staff and your Keep Education consultant

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of safeguarding practices

• Previous classroom teaching experience in UK primary or secondary schools
• Experience delivering lessons across a range of abilities
• Confidence managing classroom behaviour independently

• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to adapt teaching styles to suit different learning needs
