Role DescriptionThe NPI Process Engineer will be responsible for supporting the introduction of new products and processes into manufacturing while ensuring robust performance of existing downstream processing operations. The role focuses on process engineering, technology transfer, process monitoring, issue resolution, and driving continuous improvements within a fast-paced operations environment.
Responsibilities- Maintain and improve production processes across DSP operations.
- Lead supportive and cross-functional activities for continuous process improvement.
- Oversee process performance to ensure validated and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to reduce downtime and improve yield and efficiency.
- Manage data collection, analysis, trending, and reporting.
- Drive process improvements and lead formal issue management to reduce risk.
- Create and evaluate Product Impact Assessments and Change Controls.
- Perform Gemba walks to identify improvement opportunities in safety, quality, reliability, cost, and scheduling.
- Support Continuous Process Verification activities and provide additional research when needed.
- University degree in engineering or relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- 5–8 years of experience in pharmaceutical DSP operations and process engineering.
- Strong NPI tech transfer knowledge.
- Intermediate MS Office skills; strong data analysis capabilities.
- Proactive, organized, decisive, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities with root-cause focus.
- Stress-resilient, adaptable, and able to manage shifting priorities.
- Hybrid schedule: 2–3 days onsite.
