Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior DSP Engineer to join a modern biopharmaceutical production environment. You will work in a highly regulated setting where safety, quality, and continuous improvement are central. In this role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for maintaining and improving critical production operations.

Job Description

As a Senior DSP Engineer
, you will be responsible for supporting and improving manufacturing processes to ensure consistent product quality and operational efficiency. You will collaborate closely with production, quality, and technical teams to optimize process performance, implement improvements, and support the introduction of new processes. You will work within a regulated environment and ensure all activities comply with applicable quality and regulatory standards. Additionally, you will analyze production data, support process verification activities, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain, monitor, and optimize production processes to ensure consistent performance.
  • Analyze process data and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Support the introduction of new processes and technologies into manufacturing.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support change control activities and assess potential product and process impact.
  • Perform on-site process observations (Gemba walks) to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Contribute to Continued Process Verification (CPV) and ongoing process monitoring.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and technical departments.
  • Participate in investigations, root cause analyses, and implementation of corrective actions.
Profile
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry; 5-8 years preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of downstream processing, process engineering, and technology transfer.
  • Experience working in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Fluent in English; basic Dutch language skills are preferred.
Employment Conditions
  • Contract:

    Temporary assignment via Oxford Global Resources, with possibility of extension.
  • Salary: €4700 to €5700 per month, depending on experience.
  • Working hours:

    32-40 hours a week.
  • Work arrangement:
    Hybrid, with approximately 2-3 days on site per week.
  • Start date:

    As soon as possible.
